Qtectic and the State have agreed on State-funded modifications for the DSAPT Works, which are passed through to Alstom on a back-to-back basis.

Overview:

• The State, Qtectic and Alstom have negotiated the terms of a Rebaselining and DSAPT Amendment Deed (RDAD).
• The scope of works is to modify the current Multiple Units (MUs) by installing a new toilet module including specific design features developed through consultation with Disability Access PWG. Making the MU’s compliant with the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002.
• The DSAPT Works modifications are being carried out by the DSAPT Sub-contractor (Downer EDI) at their facility in Maryborough.
• Downer EDI will act as sub-contractors to the DSAPT Contractor (Alstom) who will in turn be directly subcontracted by Qtectic under a DSAPT Works Contract.
